Our customers are predominantly leading multi-national businesses in automotive, aerospace, medical, heating, cooling, retail displays, electrical and water distribution, and building products. We are looking to expand our capabilities, in line with growing industry demands.





The role of the Setter will be to set, condition & optimise several injection machines & oversee Robot program changes.




Key Responsibilities




Ensure company Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to Ensure restarts and start up processes are followed Fault finding and problem solving of development and production processes Tool changes including tool preparation, cleaning hoppers and material preparation Ensure machines have sufficient material Completion of relevant paperwork i.e. production sheets, OEE, Tool Change Sheets Cleanliness around machines including beds Assist Team Leader with production training and First Offs Perform hands-on production and assembly functions, includes running autos and packing Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates Set-up and run automation cells Set up and programme robots Set up of ancillary equipment, such as water temp controllers, oil heaters, material drying Data collection and recording using papers and cloud-based systems Carry out shift handover Ensure quality standards of the product are adhered to Suggest and implement continuous improvement and cost saving ideas



Personal Specification




Understand modern manufacturing principles and quality, as well as health and safety standards IMT qualifications, preferably IMT3 Good Communication skills Have a conscientious attitude to work To demonstrate a level of determination to achieve multiple tasks in a busy environment Confident to improve and adjust moulding conditions Problem solving experience Ability to coach and support apprentices Self-motivated with ambition Knowledge of materials IT literate

Hours





40 hours per week on 2 rotating shifts (06.00 - 14.00/14.00 - 22.00). Flexibility to cover night shift for holidays/absence will be required.
