Hours of work:
Days - Sunday to Wednesday - 7am till 6pm / Thursday 7am till 12pm (Friday and Saturday off)
Nights - Sunday to Wednesday - 6pm till 7am (Thursday, Friday, Saturday off)
Package:

Role Profile:
As an
Injection Moulding Setter
, you will perform tool changes, machine setup, and troubleshooting of injection moulding equipment to support efficient production.
Ensure machines and tooling are maintained to meet stock requirements and customer demand.
Your responsibilities will include:
Production & Tooling
Set and operate injection moulding machines to meet daily production targets.
Follow production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing of components.
Select and use appropriate ancillary equipment and materials.
Conduct tool changes efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime.
Ensure tools are correctly installed and aligned for maximum productivity and safety.
Quality & Troubleshooting
Inspect first-off and last-off parts per internal quality procedures.
Monitor production output and address underperformance.
Troubleshoot machine and component quality issues.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve recurring issues.
Maintain documentation of quality checks and corrective actions taken.
Safety & Compliance
Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, and Fire Regulations.
Maintain clean and safe working areas around machines.
Communication & Reporting
Record machine settings digitally or physically.
Report faulty tools or machines to the Mouldshop Manager.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Experience and Skills to be considered:
Essential
Proven experience in injection moulding and process management.
Strong understanding of machine operation and material processing.
Ability to write and amend tooling setting sheets.
Knowledge of tooling and machine maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments.
Desirable
Familiarity with MRP systems and production planning tools.
Experience with ancillary equipment maintenance.
Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
