Innovation & Digital Compliance Projects Leader

Job Description

An exciting opportunity to lead the systemising and embedding of our new innovation programme as well as direct responsibility for the development of Supply chain Traceability and Digital Product Passport (DPP) systems within the business.


This is a full time, fixed-term position for two years working 38 hours per week from our Elgin site with the possibility of hybrid working. Salary is starting from 30,000 per annum, dependant on experience.


About the Role


Key Responsibilities:


Take ownership of the systemising and embedding of the company's new innovation programme, including establishing consistent processes, tools, and governance to support innovation delivery. Support innovation teams in managing the pipeline of projects, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with strategic business priorities. The successful applicant would also be expected to gain a full understanding of relevant DPP legislation, when it is fully defined later in 2025 Liaise with external service providers to select a suitable DPP partner to support business compliance Create and implement a delivery plan for DPP implementation to align with legislation deadlines, while ensuring our customer's DPP experience reflects our values. Lead internal cross functional groups to deliver key innovation and digital compliance projects required over next 2 years Gain an understanding of the needs of our business and collaborate with key stakeholders to problem solve and implement new systems Liaise with both external providers and key customers to implement traceability frameworks which support our sustainable fibre claims Work collaboratively with peers and colleagues to embed new systems and ways of working, delivering any associated training as required Facilitate workshops, idea generation sessions, and stakeholder engagement to foster a culture of innovation Provide regular updates to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders on progress, risks, and opportunities within both the DPP and innovation portfolios.
About You


A logical thinker capable of working with complex data Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain a critical path Experience in supporting or leading innovation projects, ideally including the introduction of new systems, technologies, or processes A credible representative to engage with customers and staff on these topic A strong influencer and communicator with the ability to build relationships with people in all levels of the business Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and bringing structure to ideas and projects Curious and adaptable, with a desire to understand emerging legislation, industry trends, and technologies that could benefit the business. Can demonstrate an understanding of supply chains An understanding of manufacturing and ERP systems would be advantageous
