Salary: Starting at 29,700 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a highly motivated full-time inpatient kennel nurse to join our growing team at Bridge Referrals. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic qualified Registered Nurse to be part of our high-quality practice environment. You will play a key role in our friendly team as we continue our journey to make Bridge Referrals the best in the region for our patients, clients, and staff.

We offer referral services in soft tissue, orthopaedics, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and oncology.

About the role:

The position will involve all aspects of nursing care for inpatients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure and independently, with a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach. You will provide exceptional care to a mix of medical and surgical inpatients within a varied and dynamic veterinary hospital setting.

You will be part of a rolling rota, working 40 hours per week, including weekend and bank holiday shifts. Previous referral nursing experience is preferred, but we offer full training and support for areas that are unfamiliar.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently. Adaptability and a strong willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Highly motivated to provide excellent service to both clients and the hospital. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure. Competent IT skills.
