Position Overview:
Reporting to the Sales Director, this individual is responsible for managing the day-to-day sales activities for assigned Accounts and will be responsible for developing a network of new customers to achieve annual sales objectives. This person will work to encourage and facilitate marketing of our products within all market segments to drive sales revenue with existing customers, and will take a lead role in highly targeted business development to help grow the company's commercial customers. The Insider Sales Representative, will develop and maintain close relationships with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Shipping/Logistics and Finance to oversee any customer service and credit/payment issues specific to Commercial Costumers accounts.

Responsibilities
:
Meet and exceed set sales quotas set by the company on an annual basis.
Promote/ negotiate/ sell/ secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based, consultative sales approach.
Respond with a sense of urgency to customer and prospect inquiries and prepare written presentations and price quotes.
Develop comprehensive product knowledge of all lines of business to identify competitive features and benefits and favorably present company products and services.
Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends in consultation with marketing and technical service areas.
Report to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Have a bi-weekly call with Corporate Contact to review Sales Funnel and current opportunities.
Work with Sales Director to identify, pitch, secure and manage new direct customers.
Develop prospecting skills, using social media sources and trade associations, etc.
Manage forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using company standard CRM tools.
Manage sales funnel and provide accurate forecasts to management.
Coordinate sales efforts with logistics and technical service groups; expedite resolution of customer issues.

Skills and Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Business or a related field
2-3 years of direct sales and account management experience
Proven track record in sales and revenue growth, including comfort with cold calling and delivering effective sales demonstrations
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a history of exceeding sales targets and driving measurable results
Strong business judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact business development initiatives
Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally as required
Superior problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Experience using CRM systems, including Salesforce, with the ability to track, manage, and report on sales activities
Experience with Power BI for reporting, data analysis, and performance insights
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong presentation capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and gather input from key stakeholders
Bilingualism is considered an asset
