Build powerful insights, craft our future
As an Insights Manager at FCDO Services, you'll play a pivotal role in the shaping our future. You'll be assigned a portfolio, strategic or customer. You'll seek to gain a deeper understanding of customer perspectives on the strategic position of FCDO Services compared to competitors. Build your insights from a mix of formal, informal, qualitative and quantitative methods. This will include conducting interviews, looking at financial data, and surveys.
Turn insights into impactful plans
Once you've gathered information, you'll interpret it into useable, clear insights. From there, you'll determine the most appropriate approach for each insights project. Plus, you'll formulate a structured annual research plan to monitor progress and ensure that all milestones are being met.
You'll be like a lens into our future. With your insight and plans being actualised months down the line, which will be rewarding to see.
What you'll bring to our team
Experienced and comfortable in a customer-facing role, you can provide high levels of service. You're confident and effective at dealing with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. This is backed by strong communication skills, verbally and in writing.
Also, you're highly organised with superb time management skills, you're able to apply project management principals too. Even under pressure, you're able to stay calm and manage changing priorities. This is complemented by experience providing administrative support and meeting management. You can collate, prepare and analyse data for customer, financial and/or commercial reporting. Your attention to detail is strong and backed by proof reading experience. High proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel will be key too.
It would be desirable for you to have knowledge how FCDO Services, as well business (product/service) lifecycle. And experience of any of the following: running customer budgets, project financials and/or delivery processes; preparing and delivering presentations to audiences; using CRM, Project Planning or ERP system.

Person specification
We are looking for people with:
Recent and relevant experience developing insights within private and/or public sector organisations including research, evaluation, reporting and recommendations.
First-hand insight into applying strategic thinking, research, and the analysis to development of strategy, product development and business improvement with track record of direct stakeholder engagement.
Experience managing the on-time development and delivery of documents requiring multi-stakeholder input and approvals.
Experience compiling corporate or similar externally published documents/reports.
Confident in analysing, interrogating and evaluating information.
A track record of successfully influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, securing understanding and key stakeholder and organisational buy-in.
Able to build relationships and negotiate complex environments, dealing effectively with resistance and refining position & messaging to address.
Dealing effectively with questions and resolving problems in a collaborative way.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate, summarise and present complex information and arguments simply and succinctly in an accurate and engaging way.
Confident communication and presentation style.
Highly organised, detail oriented and deadline driven.
