The Role: Inspection & Collection Driver (Part-Time/Full-time , Flexible)

We're looking for a confident and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inspection & Collection Driver. This is a key front-line role where you'll represent Ridgway Cars when assessing vehicles we're looking to purchase.

Strong incentive scheme (Bonuses and commission pay)

You'll travel to pre-arranged appointments, carry out a structured vehicle inspection, negotiate on our behalf if needed, and then safely drive the vehicle back to our Romsey site. You'll be supported by our back-office team, and we'll provide clear guidance on what to look for and how to assess value

Your Responsibilities

Travel to vehicle locations across the region. Carry out structured vehicle inspections using our in-house process. Report back findings clearly and accurately. Negotiate with sellers when required, with support from our buying team. Collect and drive purchased vehicles back to our Romsey base. Maintain care and professionalism throughout.

What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence. Strong attention to detail and confident communication. Comfortable with light negotiation and decision-making on-site. Professional, punctual, and reliable. A calm and composed presence when dealing with private sellers or trade contacts. Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends (with notice). Prior experience in a similar role is ideal but not essential -- training provided.
