As the organisation continues to grow, we are expanding beyond traditional PE delivery into
mentoring, playground development, and wraparound care
. To support this next phase, we are creating a new
Inspired Schools Manager (Operations & Growth)
role.
The Role
This is a
hands-on leadership role
responsible for ensuring Inspired Schools' provision runs smoothly today
and is ready to scale tomorrow
.
You will oversee day-to-day operations across our existing school provision while supporting the structured growth of:
PE coaching
Inspired Mentoring
Inspired Playgrounds
Wraparound care
This role focuses on
operational delivery, quality, and consistency
, enabling sustainable growth without compromising standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Delivery
Oversee day-to-day delivery of PE coaching and mentoring in schools
Ensure staffing, cover, and timetables are reliable and well planned
Act as a key operational contact for partner schools
Maintain high standards of professionalism and communication
Staffing, Recruitment & Development
Lead recruitment of coaches, mentors, and apprentices
Manage onboarding, inductions, and compliance
Oversee probation periods and ongoing performance
Support and develop staff through observations and feedback
Quality Assurance & School Relationships
Conduct regular school visits and quality assurance checks
Gather and respond to school feedback
Ensure delivery aligns with agreed outcomes and expectations
Build long-term, trusted relationships with schools
Growth & Expansion
Lead on the rollout and scaling of
Inspired Mentoring
in schools
Sales and growth of
Inspired Playgrounds
projects, ensuring smooth transition sales conversations to installation and co-ordinating the delivery of training days
Implement
wraparound care
(before/after school provision), including staffing models and rotas
Help refine systems and processes to support sustainable growth across all service areas
Systems & Process Development
Help document and improve operational processes
Build clear workflows for staffing, QA, and school engagement
Maintain accurate records and reporting to support decision-making
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone
organised, proactive, and confident
, balancing the growth of the company with operational delivery.
You may come from:
School sport / PE leadership
Education or pastoral management
Alternative provision or mentoring services
Education operations or school coordination roles
You'll likely have:
Experience and evidence of growing projects and hitting KPI's and sales targets
Experience managing staff and schedules
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence working with schools and external partners
A solutions-focused mindset
A genuine interest in developing high-quality provision
You don't need to be a qualified teacher--but you
do
need to understand how schools work.
