At Edstart Sports Coaching, we believe in inspiring children through sport. We deliver high-quality physical education, after-school clubs, and holiday camps across Salford and Wigan -- giving every child the chance to enjoy learning, stay active, and develop valuable life skills through sport. We're now looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team.

The Role

As an Edstart Sports Coach, you'll:

Plan and deliver a wide range of PE lessons to primary school children. Lead engaging after-school and holiday clubs that inspire, motivate and encourage fun, learning and participation. Work with all age groups and abilities, ensuring every child feels included, supported and challenged. Offer creative approaches to learning and be flexible and adaptable to the needs of different schools. Demonstrate excellent behaviour management, maintaining a positive and safe learning environment. Communicate confidently with children, teachers and parents, building strong relationships. Work collaboratively within an enthusiastic sports coaching team, sharing ideas and supporting one another. Act as a role model, inspiring children to enjoy sport, stay active and achieve their potential. Have opportunities to work in sales and marketing.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about sport, coaching and inspiring children. Organised, reliable and able to manage their time effectively. Creative and interactive in their approach to coaching. Experienced in primary school settings. Dedicated to personal and professional development, with the ambition to grow within the company. Ready to take on challenges to help grow and develop the business A team player who can also work independently and take on challenges. Keen to support and mentor other coaches.

Essential Requirements

Experience working with children in a school setting A recognised sports coaching qualification (Sports related degree and/or an NGB Level 2 in Sport) Full UK driving and access to a car.
