Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required by job specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work will be advantageous.
