Position Summary
We're looking for a proactive, tech-savvy and personable
Installation & Account Management Technician
to take ownership of both deploying our HAV monitoring systems and supporting our clients post-installation, this will include existing accounts already operating with the HAVSPRO system. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Training
Initial consultation with onboarding clients, distribute pertinent documents in line with the installation procedures currently in place
Using the SIXIS Technology programming system and data returned from the client,
Configure holsters with specific tool data (manufacturer, model, type, service date, etc.)
Program sensors with operator-specific data (name, works number, HAV thresholds)
Install site beacons and ensure all components are properly registered and functioning.
Bond holsters to tools using specialised adhesives
Deliver on-site PowerPoint presentation and administer a short operator test (20 questions).
Train tool operators on correct use of the system, ensuring understanding and compliance
Conduct manager training on the web dashboard, including interpreting data and applying insights
Client Support & Account Management
Conduct follow-up visits to ensure correct system use and troubleshoot any issues.
Review vibration data with clients to identify trends, potential risks, and non-compliance areas.
Provide tailored advice on corrective actions and best practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers, safety officers, and operational staff.
Identify opportunities to optimise system usage or upsell additional services/components.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Strong technical aptitude and experience of power tools
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Confidence speaking to groups and conducting training sessions
Ability to understand and explain data in simple terms
Comfortable traveling and working on-site with clients
Desirable:
Experience in health and safety, vibration monitoring, or industrial tool environments
Background in technical sales, field service, or customer support roles
Familiarity of power tools
Exposure to construction, engineering, civils type areas
Familiarity with data dashboards or monitoring/reporting platforms
Other Requirements
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel including overnight stays where required.
Right to work in United Kingdom.
