The Opportunity
We're looking for experienced
Carpenters
to join our mobile installation teams. You'll help assemble and install our modular Edpods on school sites nationwide.
What You'll Be Doing
Installing
timber ring beams
and
floor joists
Constructing
internal and external stud walls
Assembling
roof structures
and applying
EPDM membranes
Fitting
external doors and windows
Installing
timber or composite cladding
Working safely and efficiently as part of a site team
What You'll Need
Proven experience in
carpentry or timber frame construction
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Physically fit and comfortable working in an educational environment
Full UK driving licence
(required)
CSCS card
(preferred but not essential)
Willingness to
travel across the UK
and stay overnight when required

You will be required to work in schools throughout the UK and therefore must be prepared to travel to projects outside your area however all accommodation and welfare requirements are provided whilst working away.
Salary range is dependent on previous experience with an install team consisting of 1 labourer, 1 installer and a team leader. .Site hours are between 8am and 5.00pm Monday - Friday plus travel time, with overtime available at weekends or daily during the summer months.
The ideal applicant will be required to meet the following criteria: -
Experience in site installation of timber structures
An understanding of what is required when working in an educational environment and be prepared to apply for an enhanced DBS check enabling you to work in schools.
Reliable with a positive and flexible professional attitude, who takes pride in producing excellent work and can work as part of a team.
Good problem solving and communication skills.
A flexible approach to working hours.
Be prepared to travel outside the area which will include overnight stays.
A Full UK driving license.
Salary & Benefits Offered
Salary 39,520 - 45760.00 (depending on experience and position)
