Laybrook are looking for a reliable Installer / Driver to join our growing team delivering, installing and repairing our Adjustable beds and Recliner Chairs throughout the UK.

The Role

Load van at our factory in Bicester - OX26 Drive to customers properties throughout the UK as part of a planned delivery route. Approx 3 - 4 deliveries per day. Unload and assemble the product into the customers room of choice. Demonstrate the product to the customer. Complete paperwork and take payment where required. Load any items to be returned to the factory and unload any rubbish. Routes will contain a mixture of Installations and Remedials Investigate, trouble shoot and complete repairs as necessary First job of the day is planned for arrival at the customers property at 8am, so early starts are required. Role involves carrying heavy and sometimes awkward items, so must be physically fit. Some occasional runs may require overnight stays of 2-3 nights. Accommodation & meals allowance provided for these, as well as staying away payment. Hours of work: 50-55hrs per week (Mon-Fri) Mix of one and two-man jobs depending on deliveries and driving time Additional weekend work occasionally available if desired Van, tools and training provided

Skills / Experience

Previous experience of delivery and installation of domestic electrical adjustable beds or similar products / role is desirable Engineering background or good DIY skills would be an advantage due to the required assembly of the products. Familiar with the use of Hand Tools Ability to problem solve and work on own initiative Excellent customer facing skills Experience driving large vans Professional Attitude Due to insurance purposes drivers must be over 25.
