About the Role

We are expanding our Installations Team and seeking a proactive, reliable Installation Engineer / Electrician Team Leader. This is a field-based role, working as part of a two-person team, responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing lighting systems at sites nationwide. The role requires frequent travel and overnight stays (Monday-Thursday), returning to base on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and maintain high mast and sports lighting systems across the UK. Lead installations on 240v and 410v systems, including re-wiring site phasing. Conduct fault finding, troubleshooting, and lux testing to ensure compliance. Maintain accurate documentation and site reports. Champion health and safety on-site, ensuring all work meets company and regulatory standards. Represent Kingfisher Lighting professionally and ensure positive client interactions.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Full UK driving licence. Electrical background. Comfortable working at heights (MEWPs experience desirable). Willingness to travel and stay away from home during the working week. Proactive, reliable, and a problem solver. Strong communication and documentation skills. Attention to detail and a "right-first-time" approach.

Desirable:

18th Edition BS7671. CSCS card, ECS HERS. Experience with sports and high mast lowering systems. Commercial electrical experience. First Aid at Work, IPAF certification.
