HDI are a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke display solutions based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. We offer a complete in-house one stop solution for all display needs which includes design, manufacture, and installation.

Due to company expansion and increasing installation works, we have a full-time position open for an installation team member. We are looking for a solid team player capable of working off their own initiative.

Skills and qualifications

Experience working in an installation environment.

Experience with joinery works is desirable but not essential.

Experience with audio visual installations is desirable but not essential.

Experience with metalwork display installations is desirable but not essential.

Hard working individuals who take pride in their work.

Ability to follow detailed designs and instructions.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.

Hold valid and clean UK driving licence.

CSCS card is desirable but not essential.

Happy to stay away from home.

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Your responsibilities

Provide support and assistance to one or more installation team members.

Carryout installation works both on your own and within a team.

Installation tasks to include:

o Installation of metalwork and woodwork display stands around the UK.

o Installation of outdoor kitchen displays around the UK.

o Installation of TV screens and media players.

Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities required of the individual at the time, which is deemed reasonable and for which appropriate training, development and support has been given so that the individual can perform the tasks safely and effectively.

Contribute towards ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are always met by every individual and all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Any issues, problems, accidents and "near misses" are reported immediately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The successful applicant must be 25 years or older due to insurance purposes. Having some knowledge of installation work within the Joinery, Metalwork and Audio Visual sectors is not essential but experience would be very useful. Working away on a regular basis is to be expected along with some weekend work when necessary.

Hours of work

39 hours per week @ basic pay

Overtime is expected and is paid @ 1.5 x basic rate.

Subsistence allowance when staying away from home.

Rates are negotiable dependant on experience
