We are specialist installers of all kinds of Home Entertainment and Smart Home Equipment. Typically we install TVs, Home Theatres, Sound Systems, Media Walls, Smart Lighting, Smart Curtains and Blinds, Heating and Access Control Systems, Home Security, Home Networking, and other related equipment installation.

Do you have a helpful outgoing personality and are capable of dealing with different customers with different needs?

If so you could be earning as much as 1500 - 3500 per month.

We are installers of all kinds of home entertainment and smart home equipment. Our very basic service involves mounting of TVs and soundbars, and our more complex installations involve home theatres, media walls, home security and smart home integration.

What equipment do I need?

Basic range of tools including a cordless power drill with hammer action, measuring tape, hand tools, spirit level and a wall scanner to detect power cables, pipework and wooden studs behind plasterboard. A basic range of fixings for various types of walls. A vehicle to commute to and from installation sites. Ideally for concrete and hard brick walls an SDS drill would help shorten your installation times.
What kind of experience do I need?

If you are comfortable doing most DIY jobs like putting up shelves on walls, assembling flat pack furniture and connecting TVs and hifi then you have the basic skills. It would also help if you know the basics of TV connectivity like connecting Amazon Fire sticks, Sky and Virgin boxes to TVs. Simple things like knowing the difference between HDMI, Coaxial and optical and other cables is a plus. You should also be able to configure smart TVs to Sky, Virgin, Apple TV, Freeview etc. Training will be given for more complicated higher paying installations.
How soon can I start?

If you already have the skills to mount TVs then you could start immediately. You would need to be assessed first to ensure that your skills are up to scratch. We regularly handle expensive equipment and we need to be sure that you approach every job with professionalism and care. The majority of installs are straightforward, but it's knowing how to manage when installs get complicated that is the real skill.
How do I find the work?

We provide all the leads. Initially on average you will be expected to complete approx 6 jobs a week minimum to begin with. As your skill level improves, and your clients give positive reviews we will give more complex and higher earning jobs
How much could I earn?

Our current installers take home between 1'500 - 3'500 a month. The minimum would be what you would expect with just basic TV wall mounting. As your knowledge and skill set improves you should see an average of 3'000 a month. You not only make money on the installation fee that we charge, but also accessories supplied such as brackets, cables and connectors.
What areas could I cover?

We recommend that the radius of your area should not exceed a 45 minute drive. If interested we can provide leads for larger jobs located just outside your coverage area, provided it has not already been allocated to another instllation engineer.
Is this job full or part time?

The hours you put in would be up to you although we would expect you to keep a minimum total of 36 hours a week aside for installations and availability timetables would have to be provided to us every week. Many of our installers also work Saturdays and Sundays. You would be self employed. Some of our installers work part time along with their daily job, some do weekends, and others full time.
When/how would I get paid?

Our terms with all our own clients is full payment upon completion of work via Card or bank transfer. After finishing a job you would invoice us less our finders fee/commission. All invoices submitted on a Friday would be paid the next Monday via bank transfer providing the customer has paid us. We also carry out installations for clients such as Amazon, Samsung and Currys PC World. For these clients we receive payments on a 30 day basis, so payment would be made the first Monday after we receive payment from them. 95% of our jobs are for our own customers though and installers may choose to opt out of jobs for our business customers if they wish.
Insurance and public liability

All installers will be required to take out their own public liability insurance. Insurance is an absolute must and installers must maintain their insurance coverage at all times.
