Installation & Implementation Manager
to help deliver on this next phase of this growth.
In this role you will lead the scoping, delivery, activation and ongoing optimisation of XY Sense installations across the UK and EU.
This role sits at the intersection of customers, installers, partners, hardware, software and data.
You'll own implementation quality end-to-end
-- from pre-sales design and quoting through to activation, witness testing and post-go-live support -- ensuring installations are delivered on time, on budget and to a high technical standard.

What you'll be responsible for

Pre-Sales & Project Scoping
Act as regional implementation lead supporting Sales with accurate project scoping and design
Review floor plans, ceiling plans, lighting and services drawings
Define installation scope, timelines and dependencies across multiple stakeholders
Support creation of MEP designs, network configurations, cabling scopes and integration documentation
Engage with architects, consultants, customers and partners to finalise designs
Source and manage installer quotations and Statements of Work (SOWs)

Installation Delivery
Coordinate hardware ordering, logistics and international shipping in partnership with Supply Chain
Manage installation schedules, installers and partners against agreed SOWs
Attend project coordination meetings and resolve on-site or technical issues
Track progress, risks, milestones and installer performance
Ensure accurate and complete as-built documentation (device IDs, locations, cabling, connectivity)

Activation & Sign-off
Lead quality checks and activation sign-off
Validate sensor placement, connectivity and early analytics
Manage witness testing and final customer sign-off
Reconcile installer costs, hardware deliveries and budgets
Coordinate Day 2 changes, variations and expansion work

Ongoing Site & Partner Management
Support Account Management with ongoing site accuracy, integrations and expansions
Coordinate diagnostics, repairs, RMAs and on-site support
Act as regional technical SME for installers and customers
Build, train and maintain a high-quality network of installation partners
Maintain installation guides, SOPs and internal documentation

What we're looking for
Essential
5+ years in a customer-facing, technology-focused project or implementation role
Experience managing subcontractors (low-voltage, AV, IT or similar)
Strong understanding of IoT / low-voltage installations
Solid technical knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, RF, PoE, cabling standards)
Strong project management and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced scale-up with competing priorities
Willingness to travel across the UK/EU
Nice to have
PMP certification
AutoCAD experience or certification
Enterprise AV / IT certifications (e.g. Avixa / InfoComm)
Engineering or technology degree
French, Spanish or German language skills
