Seeking experienced and professional Install & service Gas engineer for full time employed role in expanding local private heating company. Undertaking installation of new systems and replacements (all fuels, including renewable) servicing, urgent diagnostic repair and maintenance in north Birmingham and surrounding areas. Working hours 8am-5pm (requires some flexibility in busy periods) overtime is available at weekends and evenings. The successful applicant will have -

A smart and presentable appearance, with a strong focus on customer service. Be trustworthy, courteous and reliable in all scenarios Willing to learn new skills (training provided) as the industry moves towards renewable energy sources Have a clean UK driving licence, and will be DBS screened for vulnerable sites The ability to work independently and in a team, job management/CRM software experience a plus Minimum of 3 years Gas Safe registration on personal or company number. Variety of experience in domestic gas service, repair, fault finding and controls on small and large systems. Experience in practical basic plumbing - changing radiators, taps, showers, toilets etc. G3 qualified for work on vented and unvented hot water cylinders Preference is for a candidate from a currently employed or previously employed role, with consideration for self-employed applicants. Additional Commercial gas, LPG, and Oil qualifications are not necessary, but would be preferred and reflected in salary Experience with renewable systems Air source/ Solar beneficial sign written van, fuel, tools and uniform provided. Van available for personal use at company discretion
Competitive salary with overtime available at hourly rate, enrollment in company pension scheme. 20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays
