Purpose of the Role
As an Installation Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the quality, compliance, and safety of all barrier installations, ensuring each project adheres to CAD designs, is tested and verified, and aligns with Counter Terrorism protocols, including the required stand off distances. This position is integral to maintaining Crowdguard's commitment to excellence and safety in the HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) market.

You will work closely with the leadership team, providing both oversight and hands on support for a range of high profile events, sites, and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Supervision
: Oversee and lead the installation teams, ensuring projects are completed to high standards, on time, and meet CAD design specifications.
Quality Assurance
: Conduct quality checks, review installation accuracy, and verify that all barrier placements meet or exceed compliance and security standards, including Counter-Terrorism measures.
Safety Compliance
: Ensure all work follows health, safety, and Installation standards, conducting safety briefings and assessing site specific requirements.
Team Training
: Assist in the training and development of installation technicians on product specifications, deployment techniques, and safety protocols.
Site Coordination
: Coordinate site logistics, manage equipment transport and setup, and ensure that all assets are accounted for, maintained, and operational.
Client Engagement
: Act as the primary point of contact on-site, ensuring clients are informed of progress and providing reliable, professional support.
Asset Management
: When off-site, manage asset upkeep, including cleaning, painting, greasing, and mechanical maintenance.
Essential Duties
Supervise deployment of barrier systems across UK client sites, ensuring installations adhere to CAD and safety specifications.
Conduct thorough on-site checks to verify that all installations align with the specified standoff distances per Counter-Terrorism guidelines.
Maintain effective communication with the Operations Manager and clients, addressing queries and providing real-time feedback on project status.
Support asset maintenance in the Standish yard, including painting, part replacements, and other upkeep tasks.
Drive company vehicles, including pickups and trailers, for equipment transport and loading/unloading using a Fork Lift Truck as needed.

Requirements
While an identical role is not required, the following experience and skills would be beneficial:
Relevant Background
: Experience in construction or engineering site supervision, particularly in HVM or barrier installations.
Technical Skills
: Knowledge of site layout planning, risk assessment interpretation, and technical installations.
Mechanical Aptitude
: Practical experience with equipment handling, maintenance, or semi-skilled mechanical fitting.
Certifications
: Fork Lift Truck driving qualification and slinging/rigging experience preferred.
Leadership Qualities
: Strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to lead teams under pressure.
