Join our team as a full time permanent, Installer / Driver Class 2, where you will be the vital link between our company and our valued clients. This energetic role combines expert commercial driving skills with hands-on installation responsibilities, ensuring that products and equipment are delivered safely, efficiently, and with exceptional customer service. You'll operate a variety of commercial vehicle, class 2 and vans, while also assisting with the installation of equipment at customer sites. Duties

Safely operate a range of vehicles from class 2 lorry mounted crane and vans to deliver products and equipment to customer locations. Self - Load and unload our products using lorry mounted crane, forklift, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols. On-site installation of equipment, ensuring setup and compliance according to specifications. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly. Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries and installations to provide excellent service and address any questions or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery logs, company documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Follow all traffic law(s), safety regulations, and company policies during daily operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving Class 2 and delivery, involving route driving and load & unload tasks. Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting issues. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers. Ability to move heavy loads safely using lorry mounted crane, forklift, manual handling techniques. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CPC and Tacho. ADR would be an advantage. The job is outdoor, physical, varied and may require working at height.
