Job Description

Six Star Group specialise in protecting buildings from cold and damp. We fix damp problems and provide home insulation and damp proofing services. We also maintain void properties and fit bathrooms and kitchens.

We are looking for an Installs Manager who will assist the trades teams in the daily management of job delivery across all sites. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of client service and all jobs meet commercial and labour targets.

The individual will need to be self-motivated and create new processes where needed to ensure our damp, plastering and insulation projects run efficiently. It is essential that jobs run on time and to budget. We're a friendly and supportive team. Our company is growing and we need positive people to help us meet our ambitious growth targets.

Key responsibilities include:

Daily point of contact for site installers fixing damp problems and insulating buildings

Workforce management - employment of PAYE and contract staff

Running installer reviews and toolbox talks

Lodging photos on our online job tracking system

Ensure quality management across all jobs

Material/Plant/Tools procurement

Setting up site with relevant site folders/RAMS etc

Briefing & delivery of site schedule to ensure budget targets met

Health & safety delivery of plan inc. PPE provision

Stock control and warehouse upkeep

Ensuring a high level of morale within the installers

Team and process improvement inc. identifying training needs

Maintaining condition of vans and tools inc tool register

A bit about you:

Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience

Previous management / insulation experience

SSSTS training would be an advantage

CSCS card a benefit

Good work ethic and attention to detail

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Good computer skills, including MS Office

Ability to work without supervision and lead and inspire teams
