Institute Administrator 0.5FTE




Salary from 32,890 to 36,052 pa (pro rata) inclusive with potential to progress to 38,422 pa (pro rata) inclusive of London allowance




This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months




This is a secondment opportunity





This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the LSE International Inequalities Institute (III) that brings together experts from many LSE departments and centres to lead critical and cutting-edge research to understand why inequalities are escalating in numerous arenas across the world, and to develop critical tools to address these challenges. The III is looking for a self-motivated, initiative taking individual with a proactive approach to problem solving and excellent organisational and communication skills to join a dynamic team.



The postholder will provide a high and comprehensive level of front line and administrative support to Institute staff and visitors supporting the work of the Executive Assistant to the Directors and the Institute Manager.



Candidates should have:


Previous experience of working in a customer service role within an office environment

Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels

Ability to provide a high standard of service and to provide information accurately and promptly to internal and external stakeholders
