Instrument Pipefitter, Permanent

ITC Hydraulic Services Ltd have an opportunity for an Instrument Pipefitter on a full-time basis to strengthen our Hydraulics Team, based at Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.

As part of our team, you will handle and take care of several different aspects in pipe routing and fitting installations. We are looking for someone who is a confident and well organised individual who can manage a busy workload and are able to work on their own and within a team.

Candidates should have Previous experience of working in a similar position, within a mechanical/hydraulics business.

Successful candidates MUST possess the following essential skills:

Must have ability to ready hydraulic/pneumatic system drawings and mechanical engineering drawing/plans.

Demonstrable work experience.

Experience across multiple sectors.

Additional experience in maintenance activities

Must be a good team player with a flexible approach

Willing to expand current knowledge.

Educated to National Level 3 as a minimum requirement.

Fluent in English.

Must have a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.

Hydraulic Level 1 and 2 qualifications would be advantageous.

Previous experience working in a mechanical / hydraulic position.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

As a pipefitter you can independently measure piping, make an isometric sketch of it, fabricate and assemble the pipes.

Always maintain a high quality of craftsman ship.

Assist in other maintenance activities in the workshop when needed.

Prepare reports

Other duties commensurate with skills and experience as may be determined from time to time by the Manager/Directors.
