We are looking for teachers of all instruments or singing who are looking to build up a new day of teaching within our busy music school.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering student engagement, and delivering high-quality instruction tailored to the needs of diverse learners. This role requires a commitment to educational excellence and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
Teach adults and children on a one to one basis.
Build up a portfolio of students.
Prepare students for music exams
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programmes and share best practices.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in music is essential
Some previous teaching experience
Experience of preparing students for music exams
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and supporting students' growth.
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred but not mandatory.
