Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insulator to join our team, part time or full time for various projects. Some work may be offered on a price basis or day rate, subject to agreement.

Having any of the following qualifications is required.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 Diploma

Pathway 1 - Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing

Pathway 2 - Wall Tie Replacement

Pathway 3 - Cavity Wall Insulation

Pathway 4 - Solid Floor Insulation

Pathway 5 - Under Floor Insulation

Pathway 6 - Cold Roof Insulation

(Covers Loft)

or

NVQ Level 3 Diploma

Pathway 1 - Room in Roof

Pathway 2 - Park Homes

Pathway 3 - Hybrid Wall

Pathway 4 - Insulating Framed Sections of Buildings

(Covers Flat Roof, Pitched Roof and Warm Roof)

Pathway 8 - Internal Insulation (Walls)

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or mineral wool
- Secure insulation in place using staples, nails, or adhesives
- Apply vapor barriers and fireproofing materials as required
- Seal gaps and joints to prevent air leakage
- Follow blueprints, schematics, or building plans to determine insulation layout
- Work with other construction professionals to coordinate insulation installation
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with safety standards
