We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in various settings, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work with various tools, and a solid understanding of building structures.
Duties
Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications and building codes.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fit insulation materials.
Read and interpret schematics to understand insulation requirements for different projects.
Collaborate with carpenters and electricians to ensure proper installation around electrical systems and structural elements.
Perform plastering and painting tasks as needed to finish insulated areas.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets safety standards and client expectations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
Skills
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to insulation work.
Knowledge of electrical systems and how they integrate with insulation installation.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective installation planning.
Experience in plastering, painting, building, or carpentry is advantageous.
Familiarity with roofing techniques is beneficial for insulation projects involving roofs.
Basic welding skills may be required for certain installations or repairs.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
