Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Account Handler to join our busy Glasgow Office.



The ideal candidate will have previous Commercial Insurance Account Handling experience, however full Jewellers Block training will be provided.

Main duties include:

Successfully deal with new business enquiries and insurance renewals and provide a first-class service to clients by fulfilling their insurance requirements. Provide support and technical assistance to Account Executive and other staff within the Company. Handle day to day queries from clients and act as point of contact and build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers and other staff within the Company. Provide insurers and underwriters with accurate information to ensure they can assess each risk correctly. Liaise with colleagues to share information about the current insurance marketplace, and to assist them with any insurance queries.
We offer full training support and sponsorship to gain industry professional qualifications and there is a contractual requirement to gain the Certificate in Insurance qualification within a 15 month period. You will receive a financial bonus award upon completion.

This role is 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
