Job Description

We are Insurance Brokers looking for an Insurance Account Handler to work within our Knott-End office, which deals with all classes of Personal Lines Insurance for existing and new clients.

The successful applicant will deal with all aspects of the client relationship from new business through to renewal and including claims. This will involve liaising with colleagues and business partners at all levels.

You will be proactive with strong communication skills and have a desire to develop your professional career within a growing team.

THE ROLE

Responsible for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business, whilst working within FCA rules and guidelines in all aspects of personal lines insurance. Maintaining a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care standards to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements. Manage day to day inquiries from clients, including new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients, insurers and colleagues.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL NEEDED

Ideally, a minimum 1 years personal lines insurance experience; preferably from a broker background. Good working knowledge of all classes of personal lines insurance including Household, Personal Motor, Commercial Vehicle and Travel Excellent organisation skills, high attention to detail and able to meet deadlines. Confident communicator, written and oral, willing to challenge and desire to build and maintain client and insurer relationships. Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance. A good standard of education with minimum GCSE grade C/4 in Maths and English, or equivalent.
