North Downs Specialist Referrals is a progressive, team-oriented Referral Veterinary Hospital located in Bletchingley, Surrey. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding care to animals and exceptional support to our clinical and non-clinical teams. We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Insurance Administrator to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position working 40h per week Monday to Friday.

To process all insurance forms in liaison with clients, clinicians and insurance companies Managing insurance claims Completing and processing claim forms Dealing with insurance queries from clients, referring veterinary surgeons and insurance companies Managing insurance claims

For direct claims

Liaising with clients re payment of admin fee and deposit Talking client through the process and ensuring that all forms are correctly completed Liaising with insurance companies to organise pre-authorisation when necessary Following up any queries between client and insurers Arranging pre-authorisations for client Maintaining monthly report of claims submitted Scanning documents into Jupiter System Other admin tasks as may occasionally be requested by the Client Care Manager and to support the rest of the Admin team (e.g answering telephones, arranging appointments etc).

The ideal candidate will demonstrate;

Experience in the same or similar role Attention to detail Good customer service skills Confident telephone manner Good team working skills A knowledge of the veterinary profession would be an advantage
