Scope of Role




Deal with a wide range of insurance clients, providing solutions in line with business targets Work with customers to ensure an excellent level of customer service Meet compliance and regulatory requirements on a monthly and annual basis Identify additional client requirements and provide insurance advice and solutions

Principle Objectives and Responsibilities




To always act with integrity, due care, skill and diligence, observing proper standards of market conduct To always be open and cooperative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators or compliance teams To ensure all renewals and enquiries are quoted and invited as per FCA guidelines (in good time), compliantly and efficiently To develop ongoing, mutually beneficial relationships with Clients, Introducers and Insurers Adhere to company policies in company handbook Embrace learning for CPD, ensuring you meet standards as laid out by the firm Regular reporting to Senior Executive Supervise or carry out data capture promptly, ensuring fair treatment of our clients Prepare market presentations and carry out broking exercises Ensure that you contribute to making SJL the best possible working environment where all external and internal stakeholders are treated with respect, fairness and transparency

Skills and background required




Drive and work ethic to begin a career in the insurance sector Ability to prioritise and organise workloads, ensuring deadlines are adhered to. Ability to construct effective written communications, including letters, emails and reports. Ability to liaise confidently and effectively via the telephone, in writing and face to face. Ability to review documentation and use eye for detail to identify issues and amendments required Ability to demonstrate good negotiation skills Proven full time work experience Ability to work with computers, and knowledge and understanding of Microsoft IT systems * Willingness to continue to learn and develop
