An outstanding opportunity for an up-and-coming Analyst to have a big impact in a fast-moving growing and exciting business.



The Group is looking for an Insurance Analyst to join our Pricing and Underwriting team working in the Performance Monitoring section of the team.



The role will play a key part in developing on our base of reports as we continue to enhance them and take them to the next level. The role will report into Michael Peers (Head of Performance Monitoring). The individual will be responsible for building and owning specific product based reports, while supporting the team with business projects

Liverpool City Centre, Hybrid working available

Salary:

up to 32,500 depending on experience

Working hours:

37.5 Hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm



What you will be doing:



Mentor to newer members of the team, be the go to person for support and help them develop their insurance knowledge. Monitor business performance and report on any potential risks or opportunities identified. Design and produce regular reporting and analysis to help management to better understand the type and quality of the business being written. Responsible for the accuracy and quality of data and analysis Regularly evaluate existing reports and find improvements. Seek to develop new methods of analyzing and communicating whilst ensuring quality of output is maintained. Provide ad hoc MI as required in a timely manner.

what we are looking for:



Natural desire to act at pace, be innovative, while setting high standards Extensive SQL experience Knowledge of Power BI, DAX and Power Query Strong Excel skills Insurance experience desirable Experience with data manipulation and analysis in SQL, Power BI etc. Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, particularly Excel. High-Level of accuracy and attention to detail. Solid understanding of data visualisation techniques and best practices.
