Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide maternity cover for our current part time broker in our small but busy family business providing both commercial and personal insurance.

Ideally we are seeking someone looking for a part time role (salary pro-rata). Minimum requirement is to work three days a week but we are willing to be flexible for the right person.

PREVIOUS COMMERCIAL INSURANCE EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL. Please do not apply for the role unless you can demonstrate your experience.

What you will be doing:

Process and discuss new insurance quotes with customers over the phone and face to face for predominantly commercial lines insurance products.

Dealing with all aspects of the client's account from new business, renewals and adjustments for clients.

Responsible for ensuring clients are correctly and adequately insured for all their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given.

Providing assistance to our clients to ensure claims are settled quickly.

Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients and insurance companies as well as bringing in new business and helping encourage growth within the company.

About you:

You will have:

A minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience Experience of using the OpenGI system
Desired skills:

SME experience in account account-handling role with a small broker Cert CII
This role will be offered on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave for a period of between 9- 12 months.

The annual salary for this position will ranges from 25,000 to 30,000 per annum - full time equivalent), depending on experience. This salary will be pro-rata for the part time hours worked.
