Using our own in house tradesmen, we provide solutions for all aspects of damage ranging from escape of water to fire.
Due to continued growth within our Grangemouth and Chapelhall offices, we currently have a full time position for a Building Surveyor.
Duties will include the following,
Management of subcontracts, valuations and variations.
Preparation of monthly reports.
Preparation of estimates utilising appropriate estimating tools
Submitting valuations for payments.
Liaising with clients & operational colleagues.
Pricing of new tenders
Take offs of site drawings for valuation and tender purposes.
Submission of PQQ's
Requirements:
Excellent report writing skills
Ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues
Good presentation and communication skills
Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work
Technical awareness and able to work with some support to deliver all pre and post contract service delivery and to solve problems
Proactive and self-motivated
Effective time management - efficient and adding value to projects
Customer focused - ability to engage in building sound relationships with customers.
To be considered, candidates will need to have recent experience in Surveying. Previous experience within the insurance re-instatement sector would be beneficial.
The successful candidate must have the right to work in this country and must possess:
Previous experience in a similar role
Full, clean driving licence valid to drive in the UK
Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
Be committed and self-motivated, with very good organisational skills.
This position includes company vehicle and full PPE along with attractive rate of pay, pension and paid holiday allowance.
