We are looking for an experienced Claims Advisor to work with the Ingeni Claims & Administration team to act as the first point of contact for incoming claims calls & emails.
The Role
Reporting directly into the Claims Manager.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
To take calls from clients about initial and/or ongoing claims.
To assess policy holder requirements against the terms and conditions of the policy.
Understand and apply knowledge of multiple clients and product schemes.
Answer incoming calls promptly and within SLAs, always providing the highest level of customer service.
To always represent the client and the business professionally.
Obtain claims information from providers to substantiate claims decision/treatment.
Liaising with our panel of authorised repairers to facilitate repair claims
General claims administration
The Person
An excellent communicator with previous experience in a customer service-related role
The ability to be empathetic towards our customers, supporting them through a difficult period whilst making their claim journey easy for them and building their loyalty
A good fact finder - you will ask the right questions at the right time to get the customer's claim processed in the most efficient way
Meticulous and detail orientated - checking facts and asking questions will enable you to weigh up information and make accurate decisions about the claim
Knowledge of insurance products / financial services would be great, but not essential
Skills and experience
Any customer service/retail or administration experience considered as well as those with a claims background and/or graduates looking for their first career move
Clear and confident telephone manner
Good ability within administration (paperwork/PC work etc)
Organised and confident with a good attention to detail
Understanding of claims handling/management an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft packages. Word/Teams/PowerPoint/Excel
Motor Industry / Finance / Warranty / General Insurance claims experience is a significant advantage
