Responsibilities
Review incoming claims for completeness and accuracy.
Process claims by entering data into the system and verifying information.
Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation.
Maintain organised records of all claims processed and follow up on outstanding claims.
Identify discrepancies or issues within claims and resolve them promptly.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the claims process.
Assist in the preparation of reports related to claims processing metrics.
Qualifications
Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong clerical skills, including data entry and record keeping.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing claims.
Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to claims processing.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Previous experience in a similar role or within the insurance industry is advantageous but not essential.
