Aon Scotland has a Client Manager role available within our Real Estate team, to take on ownership of the Scottish Real Estate practice.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually from our Glasgow or Edinburgh office.

What the day will look like
Responsibility to develop, manage and maintain the overall client relationship securing support as required.

  • Foster, manage, and strengthen client relationships, securing internal support when needed to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Coordinate with Aon colleagues across solution lines to deliver value-added solutions
  • Lead the client team to consistently deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee broking and carrier marketing activities to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within both existing and prospective client portfolios, supporting business expansion.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the insurance market and underwriters to provide clients with the best possible solutions.
  • Set a positive example, inspiring and mentoring account handlers to support their professional growth and development.
How this opportunity is different
This is an opportunity to work within an established team at one of the market leading brokers focusing on the Real Estate sector.
A client owner for a portfolio of Real Estate accounts, this role is accountable for managing day to day relationships with clients, whilst managing and contributing towards new business growth. You will actively support the Scottish Leadership team with their growth ambitions, whilst delivering a high standard of client service.

  • Commercial understanding of business and the commercial Insurance market
  • Delegation skills
  • Strong technical knowledge in all major and ancillary classes
  • Builds and maintains deep client relationships
  • Growth mindset, experience in pipeline management
  • Good negotiating, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable, focussed and self-disciplined
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and IT systems
