Royal Holloway is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable
Insurance Manager
to lead the delivery of our insurance portfolio and support the University's strategic risk management.
As Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the University's diverse insurance arrangements, ensuring appropriate cover across a wide range of areas including property, liability, travel, motor, and specialist risks. You will lead on claims management, policy renewals, and provide expert advice to colleagues across the institution.
You will also play a key role in supporting departmental health and safety arrangements and lead on business continuity planning within the Finance Department.
We are looking for someone with a strong working knowledge of insurance principals and legislation, excellent communication and analytical skills, and experience in claims handling, brokering, and policy renewal.
Experience in the UK Higher Education sector and familiarity with finance systems such as Agresso would be advantageous.
