What we need from a new Insurance Advisor

, is a UK-based independent insurance broker specializing in niche motor insurance, particularly for driving instructors, offering competitive rates by searching multiple insurers for their customers. The company, a trading style of Barry Grainger Limited operates in Tunbridge wells, Kent & Stoke on Trent.
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused individual to join our team in an Insurance Sales role. This position operates in a fast-paced, target-driven environment where you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and providing appropriate insurance for them. Full training will be provided to support your success in the role.
Previous sales experience is essential, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets. Prior experience within the insurance industry is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment.
The OTE for this role is 50,000 per annum. This is a full-time role where you would be contracted to 40 hours per week.
The Role:
Handling clients enquiries via telephone
Shopping the risk with the relevant insurers
Selling the policy
Remain compliant with FCA regulations and undertake training

As the Company is regulated by the FCA, we are bound by FCA rules and guidelines. These guidelines require that we ensure all the individuals in our management structure and any staff directly involved in insurance distribution activities are of good repute. In considering whether any such person is of good repute we are required to ensure that you have a clean criminal record in relation to serious criminal offences linked to crimes against property or other crimes related to financial activities and whether you have previously been declared bankrupt. We must give particular consideration to offences of dishonesty, fraud, financial crime or other offences under legislation relating to banking and financial services, companies, insurance and consumer protection.
If successful in your application with the company, and on commencement of employment, you will be required to complete a Basic DBS security and adverse financial checks - your continued employment is subject to you agreeing to us arranging these checks and to the results of any such check being satisfactory to us.
