Job Description

On behalf of AWE, we are looking for a Insurance Specialist (Inside IR35) for a 12 months contract based Reading 2-3 days a week.

AWE plays a crucial role in national nuclear security. Their role in nuclear deterrence and their specialist technical assistance to nuclear threat reduction is vital in the defence against the most serious threats faced by the UK. As a Insurance Specialist your main responsibilities will be:

Handle insurance enquiries and process claims in collaboration with insurers Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Analyse claims reports and produce periodic reports for internal and external use Process insurance-related invoices and maintain accurate records Assist with annual renewals, mid-term adjustments, and other insurance tasks Support implementation of process improvements and uphold high standards in safety, health, and quality

Essential:

Active SC clearance Manage enquiries and claims across multiple Business Insurance classes (Employer's Liability, Public Liability, Motor Fleet, Business Travel) Maintain accurate documentation and insurance records while producing reports and processing invoices Apply strong stakeholder management, analytical, prioritization, and communication skills; proficient in MS Office and SharePoint, self-motivated team player

Desirable:

CII accredited Sharepoint experience
