Insurance Strategy Consultant - Healthcare Start-Up

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Consultant to support the establishment of a new medical examination and health screening clinic in central London. This part-time contract role offers flexible working and strategic influence at a foundational stage of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Needs Assessment

Identify and recommend appropriate insurance coverage for the medical examination center / healthcare screening clinic, including but not limited to

medical liability insurance, equipment insurance, employer liability insurance, and property insurance

. Assess potential risks and provide expert risk management advice to ensure full compliance with

UK insurance regulations

and industry standards.

Project Consultation & Optimisation

Analyse and optimise insurance costs and coverage based on industry best practices to maximise protection and cost-efficiency. Negotiate with insurance providers to secure

the most favourable policy terms and claims support

. Provide strategic input during the

pre-project construction phase

, designing a comprehensive insurance framework to mitigate risks effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

Extensive experience

in insurance advisory services within the UK healthcare sector, particularly in

medical liability insurance and related policies

.

Strong knowledge

of UK insurance regulations to ensure full legal compliance.

Well-established industry connections

and relationships with reputable insurance providers.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

to develop customised insurance solutions that align with business needs.

Proficiency in Chinese

is preferred to facilitate communication with the team and clients. However this is not mandatory.

Salary & Working Schedule

13.00 - 19.00 per hour

Remote or hybrid working

Part-time, flexible, and variable hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
