Location: Bradford Depot, BD2 1AZ
Salary: 21,434 - 22,970 per year (depending on experience)

Working Hours:

June to September

39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 15.30pm.

October to May

, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 2.00pm

British Wool represents 30,000 members across the UK, collecting, grading and marketing wool on their behalf. We are committed to supporting farmers and ensuring their wool reaches markets effectively and efficiently.

We are now looking for a Intake and Administration Coordinator to join our Operations team at the Bradford depot. This is a permanent, and both a full-time and

part-time position

(39 hours per week June to September, 25 hours per week October to May) offering a varied and rewarding role within a supportive team.

The Role



As Intake & Administrator Coordinator, you will co-ordinate deliveries into the grading depot and support the wider administration of depot operations. You will play a key role in working with farmers, collection centres, and hauliers to maximise the volume of wool handled and provide excellent service to British Wool members.

You will also support the depot manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to the wider work of the Member Engagement team.

Key Responsibilities:



Co-ordinate deliveries into the grading depot and maintain accurate records.

Work with hauliers and Collection Centres to provide an efficient wool collection service.

Communicate with farmers and members, handling queries and encouraging them to market their wool through British Wool.

Support depot operations, including stock records, invoicing, Health & Safety compliance, and staff attendance monitoring.

Provide administrative support to the depot manager and reciprocal phone cover for other depots as needed.

Champion safe working practices across the depot.

Essential Skills & Experience:



Excellent communication, planning, and administrative skills with an enthusiastic approach.

Confident telephone manner with the ability to engage farmers and members.

Hands-on and practical approach, with willingness to support operations as needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable (but not essential):



Knowledge of Health & Safety in an operational environment.
