Role Purpose:

  • To lead and set direction for the continuous improvement of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) capabilities across the Europe Region for CP aiming to deliver measurable productivity improvements.
  • To ensure maximum leverage of the platforms: IBP S&OP and IBP Demand (statistical forecasting) across all Business Units to provide efficiency gains, simplicity, and an improved customer experience.
  • To bring Europe business planning capabilities to next level maturity through engagement of IBP key users (Demand Planners; Demand Managers) with regular trainings, refresh webinars, community discussions, tracking of incidents and change requests, monitoring and driving regional roadmaps, and coordination with the Global IBP Development Operations team and Global IBP team.
  • To support end-to-end business planning process development across Business Units and the Europe Region to ensure efficiency gains and effective use of technology for demand planning, supply-demand balancing, and demand management.
  • To manage 1 Regional Demand Planning Analyst with deliverables including: routine monthly reports, updating of IBP product segmentation, identification levels, forecasting models, and support to Business Units on statistical forecasting and demand planning analysis.
  • Embed the implementation of business planning technologies in the Europe region S&OP full implementations and statistical forecasting.
  • Ensure optimization of end to end processes from sales forecasting, through country replenishment planning until regional supply planning processes
  • Support the European planning change agenda
Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the sustainable management, continuous improvement and adoption of business planning processes in Europe Region
  • Lead the localization and continuous improvement of business planning tools (SAP technology: IBP S&OP and IBP Demand)
  • Ensure the sustainable development and continuous improvement of business planning capabilities aligned to regional and global productivity initiatives.
  • Co-ordinate idea generation (including technology improvements) & prioritization across regional commercial, demand planning, and supply chain key user communities
  • Ensure that local IBP requirements are fed into the conceptual design and development portfolio, managed globally through the Global IBP Design Authority.
  • Lead or sponsor key IBP capability improvement projects
  • Implement assessment of Business Unit IBP capability development needs and build capability improvement roadmaps focusing on processes, people, and technology.
  • Support Business Units in the execution of their monthly demand/supply balancing cycles (S&OP) through driving adoption of tools, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • The training, development and the performance management of direct reports (Regional Demand Planning Analyst); interns or others in the P&S graduate program.
  • Ensure the deliverables from direct reports (monthly demand planning reports and statistical forecasting analysis) meet business requirements
Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:
  • Advanced operational and or P&S planning skills
  • SAP knowledge (IBP highly preferred).
  • Advanced excel and analytical skills
  • Product knowledge
  • Salesforce.com experience; Qlikview (dashboards) experience (preferred)
  • Understanding planning parameters, (master) data management & data integrity
  • Experience of the key interfaces within commercial and supply chain.
  • Managing risk and understanding trade-off
  • Several years in a Supply Planning or Commercial Environment
  • Previous Managerial role
  • Experience of working in a complex Matrix organisation.
