PURPOSE OF ROLE - INTEGRATED LOGISTIC SUPPORT ENGINEER



To work alongside the existing engineering team, to produce contract deliverables specified in the statement of work placed upon Exsel Design and Integration LTD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES



Job specific responsibilities for day-to-day duties include:



Manage support requirements. Produce ILS documentation, inclusive of plans. Implement the integrated support plan, liaising with appropriate departments regarding training, spares R&M, and technical publications. Assist with safety case documentation. Operate within the terms and conditions of the contract regarding time, cost and deliverables.

GENERAL



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be flexible and work outside core hours on occasion. Travel to other Exsel group sites and occasional overseas travel may be required. Must be able to work in the UK without restrictions & meet UK government security vetting criteria, includes Standard DBS check. This role is full time, based onsite at our Worcester office.

HEALTH & SAFETY



Adhere to all relevant Health and safety procedures and observe safe working practices. All work to be conducted in a safe manner. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to be used when required. All tools and equipment are to be cleared away at the end of a task and work area cleared up before the end of working day. All hand tools (if used) are to be maintained in a safe useable condition. To advise advanced Technician, team leader or line manager of any Health & Safety issues promptly.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS



Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work with people at all levels. Self-confidant and assertive. Sound judgement and decision making ability Ability to organise and prioritize a number of project simultaneously Ability to understand customer requirements and to build good relationships 5-7 years within an engineering discipline.

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS



A degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Skilled in preparing technical reports and presentations for customers. Experience of working within an ISO 9001 organization. Experience of using engineering documentation such as technical drawings and records.
