The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke.

What you'll be doing
The purpose of the role is to manage the delivery of project to support the mobilisation of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), and its increasing maturity as an organisation. Initially the role will be as an Integrated Management System Lead, managing the creation and launch of the CWA's Integrated Management System (IMS) and its controls (policies, processes, procedures, templates and guidance), including management of the creation of its assurance processes and recruitment of a long-term IMS team.
Establish an Integrated Management System in line with the project vision and compliant to statutory and regulatory requirements, including developing supporting plans, procedures and templates and administer any change requests.
Act as the IMS subject matter expert and implement the IMS across the various delivery teams and oversee compliance to the Systems.
Identity opportunities for improvements to the systems and processes to ensure best practice, continuous and continual improvements to support a LEAN system for project productivity.
Set up, establish and drive the IMS assurance and governance within CWA and with Sizewell C and parent companies' key stakeholders.
Work with the Digital/IT/Data team to enable improvement to the IMS platform
Ensure Awareness on Policies and IMS requirements across the project to support highest levels of compliance in the delivery teams and in our supply chain
Ensuring the business is compliant with the applicable ISO Management Systems, Client nuclear project requirements and other industry quality related requirements
Establish a risk-based audit schedule and audit the project teams and suppliers for compliance
Lead the Management Reviews and track actions needed for improvement of the system
Drive the right behaviours and support a culture of compliance
Supporting the business unit external accreditation process (including ISO 9001, CARES and industry licences) to ensure it can operate in its chosen sector
Who we're looking for
BSc engineering or science degree.
Certified to ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
Preferable experience on working in large complex infrastructure projects, ideally in nuclear sector.
Subject matter expertise and proven record of accomplishment in Integrated Management Systems
Awareness and understanding of quality, health and safety, ESG and/or technical standards.
Confident in working with Senior Management and can influence
Ability to provide leadership and build strong relationships with delivery teams, project managers, supply chain and stakeholders.
Experience in leading and managing teams.
Has an ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts.
Has good interpersonal and communication skills.
