KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a business in a very competitive sector we are always looking for operational and commercial advantages. This leads to ever evolving technology requirements and continued improvements and developments within our systems infrastructure. Directed by the Head of Business Systems and the wider management team you will plan, implement, document and train on a variety of key projects focusing on improving the service offering to our colleagues and clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop new systems integrations
Support and improve existing integrations
Provide documentation and training as required
Maintain a change management log for development work
Liaise with external resource as required
Support project timelines & quality standards
Investigate and resolve data / process errors
PERSON SPECIFICATION
This is a role focused upon integrations between the ERP, CRM, ESP and associated systems. You will work as an integral member of the business systems team, have previous knowledge of integrations and be open to exploring new development tools. Working closely with Business Systems and Digital Marketing you will be required to understand and translate requirements from various business areas into deliverable integration solutions.
The following competencies are expected:
Zapier API creation & administration
JSON API development
Knowledge of API and Webhook methodologies
Understand complex data structures & relational databases
Knowledge of ERP / CRM (Priority / SAP / HubSpot /Dynamics / Salesforce)
Data flow and process mapping
Ability to understand new and changing systems used throughout the business and how to integrate them with each other.
User journey mapping
The following are not required but would be of substantial value to the business:
Web design / coding experience, specifically HTML, CSS, PHP, JS
SQL query writing & data analysis
Data analysis & report preparation (Excel, PowerBI)
Ability to quickly switch to ad-hoc urgent tasks.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

INTERVIEW PROCESS
Stage 1
Video interview with hiring manager, Head of Business Systems.
Stage 2
Face to face interview with Head of Business Systems and HR, where you will be expected to produce a presentation, including but not limited to showcasing examples of previous integrations work carried out.
