Job objectives and responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join Mitie Intelligence Services (MIS) as part of the Intelligence Hub, in a new role within the rapidly evolving and growing team. This role will be focused on developing, owning and delivering a dedicated and bespoke intelligence service for a governmental organisation with an extensive portfolio.
The Intelligence Hub's remit is to provide an open-source intelligence (OSINT) capability to Mitie and for Mitie's clients. The Intelligence Hub is responsible for the identification of potential threats to our clients' employees and business operations and the delivery of timely, actionable threat intelligence for the purpose of informing and facilitating our clients' decision-making process so that identified threats can be mitigated. The Intelligence Hub also provides major incident communications support in response to a significant incident and bespoke, digital investigation services in response to unique and individual security requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an OSINT, crime or security intelligence-related environment, either within law enforcement, military, government or the private sector. You will be a confident and assertive decision-maker with the ability to work in a highly dynamic, agile environment, with excellent judgment and written communication skills. Hands-on and driven, you will inspire others with your passion to provide excellent threat reporting to assist client security decision-making and improve business resilience.

Scope of the role
Provide the highest standards of intelligence collation, evaluation, and analysis to influence key decision makers and foster key partnerships with law enforcement and other authorities when deemed necessary and proportionate to do so.
The Role - Key accountabilities and measures
Provide a dedicated and bespoke intelligence service to a governmental department
To own and develop bespoke intelligence products to support the customerandmake appropriate recommendations for the deployment of security resources based on intelligence analysis.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with the customer and gain an in-depth understanding of their operational requirements, and promote effective intelligence-bas

risk mitigation strategies.
Work with the Intelligence Hub analyst team to support the identification, development, monitoring and exploitation of open-source intelligence (OSINT) sources to produce actionable intelligence packs.
Identify groups or individuals that pose a threat to client assets, and provide end-to-end case management with the potential to contribute toward criminal convictions and custodial sentences
Present intelligence and structured reporting to the client leadership and, if necessary, wider authorities.
Complete ad-hoc projects as designated by management or client on time and to a high standard of quality.
Develop and maintain professional relationships and partnerships with internal and external intelligence teams, departments and agencies to facilitate greater inter-departmental and inter-agency collaboration to disrupt and deter threats to the customers' operations.
Form and develop relationships with Police, law enforcement agencies and other partners to identify and advance the potential of prosecution and other enforcement action.
This role does not currently involve line management responsibilities, but given the expected high calibre and experience of the successful applicant, they may be expected to provide mentoring to junior employees.
