As an Intelligent Dispense Installation Technician you will be helping great people in great pubs serve great beer by installing Greene King Intelligent Dispense systems in our pubs, calibrating the telemetry system and demonstrating the operation, features and benefits of GK ID to pub managers and team members. Once installed you will hand it over, enabling them to delight our customers with great beer.
You'll be interacting with our pub teams to ensure they are capable & confident of dispensing beer with the new equipment, working with our Dispense Quality Specialists to ensure our pubs are set up for success and identifying improvements in processes and installation components to the ID Project Team to support the ongoing development of the system.
This is a field based role predominantly covering the Manchester area (company vehicle provided). The normal hours of work are 45 hours per week between 6am and 6pm Monday to Thursday, inclusive of any unpaid lunch break of one hour.
Qualifications
Your role as a Intelligent Dispense System Installer

• System Installation: Install and set up Greene King intelligent dispense systems. Ensure all components are correctly installed as per the installation manual, that draught brands are installed to the mandated specification and that the system is connected to the internet.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions that arise with the dispense system during the installation. Feed any process or equipment issues to the project team to support continuous improvement.
• Calibration and Testing: Calibrate the system to ensure accurate reporting of dispensed volume for each draught brand, the brand dispense temperature and the operating status of key components.
• Customer Training: Provide training to the manager and the pub team on the correct operation of the system before handing it over to the manager.
• Job recording: Maintain an accurate record of all installation activity on the company's work management system.
• Inventory Management: Ensure all equipment used in installations is booked to the pub inventory and that unused equipment is transferred to the appropriate virtual stockroom.

• A qualification in draught dispense systems and/or relevant experience of successfully delivering full dispense system installations in pub environments
• The drive to succeed and the ability to overcome obstacles to keep tasks on track
• A desire to learn, and to share that knowledge with others to enable them to succeed
• Flexibility when working as part of a team, stepping up when the situation demands it and also able to give your colleagues the chance to shine
• A level of attention to detail that ensures installations are completed to the mandated standard and that all activity and transactions are recorded accurately
• Approachability and the ability to explain how a draught dispense system operates to people who may not have your technical knowledge, but require your support to ensure they can operate it successfully once installed.
