What you can add:



Leadership & Strategy

: Deputise for the Chief Nursing Officer; lead strategic planning and nursing standards.

Professional Oversight

: Provide leadership to 6,000 nurses, midwives, and AHPs; ensure continuous improvement in patient care.

Governance & Compliance

: Interface with regulatory bodies; oversee risk management, safeguarding, infection control, and digitalisation.

Workforce & Development

: Lead workforce planning, recruitment, development; manage budgets and efficiency savings.

Quality & Innovation

: Drive service redesign, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice; promote research and audit.

External Engagement

: Represent the Trust nationally; build partnerships across health and social care systems.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

: Champion inclusive practices and improve outcomes for protected groups.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.



What you'll need:



Qualifications

:

RN/RM/RSCN registration Masters in health-related subject Extensive senior nursing and managerial experience Proven track record in clinical leadership and change management

Experience :



Extensive senior nursing and managerial experience within a large acute Trust Extensive experience as an experienced clinical practitioner Demonstrated breadth and depth of understanding of current NHS Policy and ability to interpret and implement in practice Significant experience across a range of health care priorities Experience in developing clinical teams Experience of working with national programmes and initiatives Experience in managing large-scale change successfully Evidence of influence and negotiating skills Evidence of successful change management Evidence of managing projects Evidence of managing conflict and deploying successful conflict resolution strategies Evidence of securing funding to support organisational initiatives Ability to work with different disciplines across the health, education and social care settings Evidence of undertaking audit and contributing to research programmes Contributor to research studies
