Interim Finance Manager
on a short-term temporary contract.
About you
As the
Interim Finance Manager
you will be responsible for helping the
CFO
with the day-to-day running of the finance function.
As an Interim Finance Manager, your role will include, but not be limited to:
Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts for both internal and group-level reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with the month-end timetable
Oversee timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining financial integrity across all accounts
Ensure full compliance with statutory reporting obligations, including submissions to HMRC, National Statistics, and other relevant regulatory bodies
Support the production of statutory accounts, liaise with external auditors, and assist with bank reporting and corporation tax preparation
Review and advise on complex accounting areas such as stock valuation and revenue recognition, working closely with the Head of Finance to uphold accounting standards
Support the finance assistant in transactional duties
Check over payroll data and working with the third party payroll provider
Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and promoting a culture of mutual respect and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
QBE/Part-qualified/Qualified accountant
Proven track record of operating within a management accounting position previously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy and knowledge of applicable accounting standards
