We are seeking an experienced and proactive Interim Finance Manager to join the team at St. Pancras London. This is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for managing the hotel's financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making during a transitional period.

Key Responsibilities:





Lead the day-to-day finance function, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Manage cash flow, profit and loss, and ensure the integrity of the balance sheet Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and enhance operational efficiency Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal control procedures Support the Director of Finance in all aspects of the company's financial systems and operations Maintain a robust accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and improve profitability Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring all balances are supported by appropriate documentation in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ensure the accuracy of the profit and loss statement, including correct cost allocation and revenue matching Conduct annual performance appraisals for direct reports in accordance with SOPs Demonstrate a sound understanding of cash flow management and ownership priorities Ensure compliance with the management contract and all reporting obligations Communicate effectively with property owners and stakeholders Analyse financial data and market trends to support business decisions Ensure adherence to both standard and local operating procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes Review and address audit findings to ensure accuracy and compliance

Candidate Profile:



Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum of five years' experience in hotel or hospitality finance in management roles Strong working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a range of stakeholders Available to commence employment immediately
